BiographyWife of Ikeno Taiga, daughter of poetess Yuri (whose tea shop was in the same Gion park where the young Taiga was to sell his fan paintings). Brought up in the civilized arts of traditional Japan, waka poetry and the ancient and haunting musical instrument the sho, a multi-reed mouth organ. Shared many aspects of their lives with Taiga and his friends.
