BiographyDaughter of accomplished amateur watercolourist Sarah Crease. She studied art in Victoria under Georgiana de 'Aubiniere and then in London and Paris in the 1880s and 90s. Known for her scenes of Victoria and environs, she was important to the early cultural development of the city, helping to found the Island Arts and Craft Club/Society. She also served on the Committee of the Society's School of Handicraft and Design which opened in 1913 and in 1939 she became Honourary President.Person TypeIndividual
