DescriptionThe colourful WOMAN'S OPERA ROBE is called a "Nuey Mang Robe." It is a theatrical outfil of the Tang Dynasty worn by elderly women. One special occasion when this robe is worn is at the annual meeting of the Eight Immortals or at a party to celebrate the birthday festivities of one of the Eight Immortals. The collar is generally worn loose with a large white silk scraf underneath.Status
