DescriptionThe body of the teapot consists of two hexagonal parts joined together. One part has a handle and a circular opening on the top housing a fitted lid with a lion dog finial. The other section with the spout is stepped down slightly and has a raised relief design of bats and a peach on the top. There is a raised relief vertical pattern on the exterior of both sections, reminiscent of bamboo. The handle and the spout are shaped like bamboo. There are drain holes between the two sections.
