DescriptionUpright jade vessel in pale green stone with rust infusions is carved in the form of a Shang dynasty bronze. The lower portion of the body is square resting on a short slightly flared square recessed foot. The upper portion is also square but slightly recessed and with sides that flare outward toward the top. There are small elephant handles on two sides of the top. Exterior surface has been incised and carved with decorative motifs, a row of concentric triangles at top and scrolls, spirals, circles etc. on the bottom.
