DescriptionFour lobed plate is of a basically oval shape with raised sides & a moulded rim. Painted decoration consists of a deep blue ground on the inside walls & well of plate, reserving three mirror shapes, framed with gilt cartouches, & a central oval trimmed with gilt in a regular dot pattern, surrounded by a plain gold band. All four reserves are delicately painted with polychrome floral sprays. An elaborate gilt pattern depicting a hanging basket with fruit & trailing foliage is painted on the blue ground between each mirror reserve. Raised moulding traces the oval shape of plate at base of its side wall. White rim of plate is trimmed with gilt.Colour: white; royal blue; gold; pink; purple; faded green-blue; yellow
