DescriptionA gilt bronze belt fitting that has two plaques hinged together. They are each of openwork design and depict a dragon-like creature with its head (and upper body) turned backwards and has incised detail over the top surface. The plaque with hooks is missing its framing edge and its one side and the plaque with openings (for attachment) has had its framing edge detach, but it is still hinged.
