DescriptionA gilt bronze belt plaque or ornament that would adorn a horse bridle or saddle. The top surface is on intricate design (with the thinner parts having worn through - corrosion?). The sides and ends of this rectangular shaped item are lightly scalloped, with detail at the corners, and the ends are rounded. A spot of green corrosion appears in the centre of the top surface.
